last night my tail lights decided they didn't want to turn off. what could cause this? the only way to prevent my car from dying is pulling the fuse everytime i leave my car. this needs to be fixed

BOO switch (Brake On/Off) located on the brake pedal stalk, behind the metal bar that moves when you press the brake pedal.

it is a normally closed switch that is released when you press the pedal.. it likely popped off the mount that holds it right behind the pedal and is now "always" released.

same thing happened to me and thats exactly what it was. The switch just had popped out of the stalk.
