Has anyone installed a multi spark ignition box on a V6 tour? If so, what was the result?

Without considerable modifications, this is just SNAKE OIL! Even with considerable modifications that still might be SNAKE OIL. Don't waste your money.

Don't get one for the v6. I tried the Jacobs and it did *squat*. Someone else actually dyno tested theirs and it lost hp.

However, the zetec's seem to like them.

your stock ignition is more advanced I toyed with the idea of getting one with timing control but decided against it.

Snake Oil Big time...

Jacobs, Nology, etc All proven to have no performance gain or actually hurt performance.

The DIS system on most OBD-II cars is far superior to anything you could get in the aftermarket without laying down some serious cash (I.E a custom PCM setup = $2k+)

Like any snake oil product, it does the job it was designed to do very well. Unfortunately it was not designed to improve engine performance. It was designed to transfer money from your pocket to theirs.
