OP mrstooge New CEG\'er M Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 37 hammond,ind	had check engine light come on for about 10 seconds today while driving.it never came back on the rest of the day.numerous short trips.does this count as a cel?should it stay on?ive read many posts about the cel but i always thought once it came on it stayed on.thanks by the way car is 95 se with 52000 and its running fineno troubles except that light earlier Last edited by mrstooge; 06/18/05 11:56 PM. 95 contour se 52000k electric red

It bears watching, but might be a one time thing.
