Yank that biotch off. I broke the tabs that old it on and said screw it, i have to drill holes to hold the new one on anyway.

Actually I think it releases in an up and down motion

remove the door weather strip. (top part)
press the pillar inwards towards the a pillar frame (like compressing a spring)
slide upwards, towards the roof line, to slide the pins out of the slot they are held in.

the entire piece should fall away after it moves upwards about 1/2 inch or so.

Tried the compressing and pushing but it only moved 0.5 centimeters

maybe breaking it off and buy a new one will be the the easy way to do it , the only thing that has come off now if one nail and skin.

Did you get the gauge pod from Lotek with the three holes or is it a different one?

I wish!

couldnt find anything that was fitted for the model in Europe so I bought a universal tripple crap holder that took 3 hours to modify so it would fit on the factory A rod.

All thought I did get 3 Ultra-light gauges for it so any bad fitting will be balanced by the bling of the Autometers
