I was told the cat is removable. What exactly does this mean. At will i can take it out, for say going to the track? Is it that easy? Can someone shed a little light on this? Thanks

Im not posotive but I know the Cat comes off for "track use"...most likely it is just bolted up and all you do is unbolt it..should be to difficult or tiem consuming...but someone correct me if im wrong.

When I got my Y-pipe, it was in 4 pieces. The 2 downpipes, the cat, and a flex pipe to connect to the rest of the exhaust. It all goes together with clamps. I had mine welded because the clamps were leaking.
I guess you can unclamp the cat and have dual open exhaust.
Hope this helps! cool

Well, just like the bolts that don't come with the kit frown , you can also buy a pipe cut the same size and just replace the one currently bolted in there so it is off road.

You can unclamp the cat and slide it out without disassembling the exhaust system. At the track, you could slide in a y-pipe and race with very little time and effort.

Are we talking about a exhaust cut-out?
And does the clamps come with the y-pipe?

The Y-pipe includes the clamps for connecting the parts, just no bolts to connect the Y-pipe to the front manifold, or to the rest of your exhaust.
I've got a diagaram in case you want it, it will help!
