Lo...
Over the weekend I was on business up in the Boston Area. There is an old friend of mine that finsihed a project Mazda RX7 and wanted to see what I have done on my car over the past months. So I brought up my car and we went to a local meet-and defeat.
He took on some 70 Corvette and SMMMOKED the guy, then he lost to a soupy Porsche 928-S.
I, in my lil' Tour with racy spoiler, drew a new, vomitous, turquiose BMW M3, yep 2001 (sic?). This guy was about 50 years old and looked like he was not about topound the new car. So I thought that I could have a victory heah, haw haw.
The flagman waved us off and the fellah (accent heah) smoked them a little off the line. I got out about three car lengths ahead after a couple hundred feet and then he POURED IT ON. I had no NOS  and he came up on my back FAST! As he came up on me sand was spread all over the road and had tirespin and my car slid a bit to the right...
HE HIT THE SAND, shifted, pinned the throttle, FISHTAILED, did a 180, got traction, and bounced the spanking new M3 right into the freaking guardrail!!!!!
He lost a headlamp on the left side and busted up the bumper, cracking the plastic and crimped the hood...

POOR *******.
Anyways, the PERFORMANCE portion here is.. he had the Xenon Lights HID in the car (initially anyway) and I want to put these on my car for under $1200 bucks... has anyone done this yet? Any directive on parts? Does Siemens produce adequate ballast for this setup, I have an engineer friend in their R&D who I know from my army days and he thinks that he can help me out with their parts... what cars do they work with ??? Bimmers, Jaguar maybe ? Any help would be great.
BTW I stopped after the guys wreck and NEVER got the credit for a win... that's one Bozo that I'll never forget though!
