Just had my passenger side front wheel bearing replaced. The rumble that I felt when turning the wheel left is gone, but its now replaced with a smooth scraping sound (seemingly) on each revolution of the wheel when turning left.

Before I contact the dealer and go though that hassle, what could this be?

Note that the dealer wanted to replace the hub and bearing at $150 for the part, but I asked them to press out the bearing and replace just it to save $$.

Thanks,
Chris

does your rotor have a scar (freshly scraped/rough) area around the outer rim? signs that it is rubbing on the caliper bracket itself.

Your rotor isn't warped, is it? pulsating brake pedal when used?
