my gas pedal is stick when you first push on it after that it is ok so i tried wd40 on the throtle arm in the engine bay but that didnt work any suggestions?

Take your throttle body off and clean the gunk on the throttle body plate.. that is causing the stickiness. Abotu a 10 minute job.

I agree that it is probably a dirty throttle body. I find it unnecessary to removeit to clean it. I can do a very thorough job on the car, using throttle body cleaner and an old toothbrush.

agreed
Alot of people swear you have to take off the tb to do a good job cleaning it but its just not true. As long as you use berrymans(in the spray can) spray it down real good and a shop rag or a toothbrush will work just fine.

Removing the TB would not be needed unless you wanted to clean the EGR passages, as well. Depending on how long its been since you've cleaned up that area, or how many miles you have on the car, it MIGHT be warranted. Simply to fix a nagging pedal, leave it on, clean around inside by manipulating the throttle plate by hand.
