No, he can navigate a manual transmission just fine. I don't think he'd be putting a manual in his SE and had a manual on the Escort if he couldn't.

my cousin has a 94 bmw 325i also. but a 4 door auto tranny...BUT he put in the garage all winter and pulled it out in the spring with 390 HP and a 1/4 mile time in the low 12's. full 4 speed racing tranny that changes from 3rd to 4th at 225 KM/h [censored] sic man!! GOOD [censored]!! congrats!
