I have a 2000 SVT, standard trans. 45000 mi., sticks when trying to pull out of first from parked stop. Can't get it in reverse, have to wriggle the clutch/gears. From red light to green, can't always get in first to go!-How dangerous! Took to Aamco, they think it's the hydros in the clutch. What do you think? and is Aamco ok to have do the work? They charge $70/hr versus $93/hour at the dealer. HELP!

in the case of my 98CSVT MTX-75 it was EVERYTHING internally, gears, syncros, everything going bad at once...

Did you have it repaired or buy something else? Was if fixed at the dealership?

The clutch is dragging. IE, when you push it down it's not fully releasing.

Agreed.

Now before you get stupid about anything else, try bleeding the clutch to see if the problem is from air in the system. It may be a very simple solution.
