Maybe, but it looks better than the monsterflow, plus I really want foam. Does anyone have this filter on a non-svt contour? I'm wondering if it will fit on my 98 SE.

Ok heres whats up with the Dragon intake and filter. It will fit on ANY Duratec...so yes it will fit on a non-SVT (but not Zetec), mangler. The ram air kit will also fit on ANY Duratec...as long as the car already has a Dragon intake installed.

From whatI can tell, it looks just like the KKM. Now, as far as the "ram air" or "cold air intake" topic is concerned, this has been beaten to death on these forums. Do another search on it, and you will see. All the cougar guys use the Weapon R, so if you want some real feedback, visit the cougar forums to get an idea how they feel about it. Here is a Injen on a cougar from a meet I went to... And if you want a real "cold air intake" as opposed to one that just recycles hot engine air, say a prayer...The SCA is the closetes on you can get to one. And people will have an opinion on that too....

I do not think that an intake should be judged solely on how it looks, but as a balance between both looks and performance. Looks have no power increase, but seriously, if looks were not a concern I am sure many would go to Home Depot, buy some dryer hose, tap for the IAT and duct tape an air conditioning filter to the end of it and have it do the same job for a much cheaper price (would you?). I know that right along performance inside the engine compartment of my car, I also want it looking good and like it belongs. However, I will not get into the good looking/bad looking issue again because I am not going to get 100% agreement on that anyways, so why fight it? But to wrap up the point... it is not JUST looks or JUST performance, but a balance between the two that I think matters when dealing with someone's car, especially when there are a variety of aftermarket choices that offer slightly varied performance gains. Now who wants to go get some dryer hose and duct tape? lol... j/k.

I have a Cold Air Intake fabricated by Injen Technology. They were gonna mass produce but with the lack of interest they stopped. I think it looks way better than any SCA Cold Air (For the looks Factor). And as far as performance i could not tell you vs. SCA because I never had one. But Injen's CAI had notable gain in HP.
