i was just wondering if anyone had put a magna flow muffler inplace of the resinator? how it sounds does it dget rid of the rasp when its cold?

NOPE, NEVER.
But I bet it would sound just fine and not raspy if you are still using the stock mufflers.

I had a magnaflow installed to replace my stock resonator, was using that for a while with my stock SVT dual mufflers. Sounded fine. I was not one of the people who wanted my car as loud as possible either, if that helps.

I was supposed to have it installed Sat morning but not so lucky since I have some fuel on the outside of my fuel tank and they would not perform any welding that way  ... So it has been postponed for Wed/Thurs. Will advise sound at all loads including idle & no-load rev...

I am currently running that set-up and it has a nice tone to it. The rasp is minimal in my opinion and non existent when at temp. I was running straight pipe prior and THAT was like a hornets nest at low end, loud and drony at cruise. Still on stock SVT mufflers, am planning to upgrade to either Magnaflow or DynaMax later this season. If I had to stay with this set-up, I could live with it.

just had my installed today...wow...it sounds good...( i have no mufflers and the magnaflow)
