Hey, had a question. Well first of all I think they need to rename this thread "Audio & Video" but my question is this. I got an in-dash dvd player, and a seperate in-dash pure monitor. My 96 has 2 DIN's (not sure what years had the set up) but there is one where the stock stereo used to be then further down there's a spot. I'm gonna attempt to dig in there behind the stock location, pull those wires back down behind and through the lower location, hook up the dvd player there, and then the monitor in the stock stereo location. I don't think there is any reason why I shouldn't be able to do this...is there? DVD Player: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14930Monitor: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14997tor: (nothing special. just felt like doin it lol)

Guess I got the last one or something! Anyways it's just a basic 7" monitor. Motorized, only cost me like $400 something like that.

Just cut the "din" out and make a small "brace" to go around it out of thin brass. My old set up in my old CSVT..

Alright Lilstyper, your picture is really what helps me out the most. You're stereo in that lower slot. How did you take out the back of that slot set back in there? Just cut it out? What did you use? Pull the wires through the back huh...looks pretty easy.

I just got done with it. The wires are through, just waiting for my stuff to come in, probably tomorrow. And I'll probably hook it up when I get a day off. I'll try to take some pics and post'em.

Do you have any pics of that? I definitely agree with you on needing to switch the two, moving the monitor up. Doesn't the shifter obstruct the view?

Just finished. I'll get some pics up on my next day off (thursday) went smoothly EXCEPT for some reason, when i pulled off my a/c and all those knobs, i screwed them up. They're not aligned now, and I cant get anything (heat or air) to come out my vents.... lol I need to fix that. It was 94 today! I'll get pics up. It looks GREAT!
