Well, I put down the deposit on it at least, going to go pay the balance next week when I get my insurance payout.
1998 T-Red on Midnight Blue from a dealer. $ 9,500
125,000km on it, but with new SVT Duratec with 5,000km on it. Mechanically seems very sound, but front bumper needs a paint-job. Accumulator was replaced a couple of years back, but still has foam cladding so I'm going to rip that off when I get it home. Struts replaced in 2002. Bearings replaced 2002. Start replaced 2002. Clutch disk & shift linkage replaced 2002. RHS Control arm replaced 2002. CV boots replaced 2002/2003.
Getting Ford Racing Wires & Ford Honey MTX fluid change as part of the deal.
I'm very happy as not only all of this, but I have a work list from Campbell's in my hand, and a summary from the current dealership, so I know all work done.
Also Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, which look pretty new.
Also noticed a rear-strut brace (Ford Racing) when I opened the trunk.

Nice!
Good buy Christian! Enjoy. Too bad I'm not in Ottawa anymore or I would check it out.

Yup, I'm pretty happy, will be happier once the front bumper is repainted. It looks like he caught it on a curb. There's a very minor, and barely noticeable split on the passenger side end. The paint is off it in large cracks, and the wheel-well edge has paint missing and is spidering out from the stress. Other than that, just little dings on it. I can get different panels repainted during this year and the next. Great little drive

That was my car up until I traded it to Sterling last year. I can tell you a little more about its history if you want...

I drove by yesterday and wondered if that was yours Harry. I was also wondering what happened to the engine....
