Just recently I have noticed a noise when the car turns, no it is not the tires. It sounds like not enough power steering fulid or something in that catagory. But if I am at a dead stop, no sound if I turn on the wheel. The noise happens when I turn the wheel more than 90 degrees. What could this be? now that it is summer im driving with my windows down, and now there are more things to fix!! arg!

There will be more noise when the steering wheel is held at or near the steering stops. You may also have a bit of air in the system if the fluid is low. Dirty fluid also makes the system noisy.

Start by checking the fluid level and condition. If it is low, look for leaks.
