Its behind the driver's side fog light. Looks like a thermos. I'd say about 10" tall 3" round. I got quoted $85 to recharge my AC last summer. Still haven't done it yet but $164 is a ripoff.

Looking on SLM parts Receiver/Drier(I think thats the right part) goes for $70 to $93 US depending on the vehicle.

Hope that helps !

There is a pretty good product on the market. A/C Stop leak.. works in most cases depending on how bad the leak is on your system. The Garage would like to have you replace the part rahter then use A/C Stop leak because it means they will make more money off the part and for labor. We use the stop leak in our Dealership and find 9 out of 10 times it will seal the system. It will cost about $20 and you will have to recharge your A/C The Price of Refrigerant Has shot up in price because of a shortage.. so that could be expensive.

Hope this helps you

not really..... refrigerant just went from my cost $110 for 30lbs to over $400 so yeah it will be more expensive than last year.

Mine just went too, the damn foam that insulates it held too much moisture and rotted it out. dealer retails the bottle for $150can. In the case of the bottle leaking the stop leak stuff will not work! if you have a less serious problem then yes there is a good chance it will work as I use it all the time, but my 1" hole can't be sealed by the stop leak, so just buy the bottle. If you can get your hands on the ac connector tools then with your system drained you could change it your self in prolly 1/2 hour and bring it back to them to recharge.
