With a ~75 shot on a relatively stock motor, have similar HP gains as a Supercharger and a LOT more TQ. Get yourself a ZEX kit for ~$500, NGK TR66 spark plugs and you're ready to go. Spend a little bit more and get the car on a dyno to check your AFR.

not sure how this applies to duratecs but a few focal jet members believe that a nitrous dry kit on a zetec is a ticking time bomb.

While the topic was brought up...Would a Zex kit, with a mild 50 or 75 shot be ok on a stock engine ?? And what else do I need to replace if i install a kit ?

any use of nitrous can be a ticking time bomb. You need to know how much the motor can take before you introduce death to the poor motor and youself...

a properly tuned nitrous system is no more dangerous than any other form of FI!
nitrous is not the danger. peoples unrealistic expectations and ignorance to the facts are the danger!

I dont think anybody would use the nitrous so often to spend close to $5,000 in two years. You can pay later and have Nitrous and Turbo. Try the nitrous, and be smart. If you kill the car get a 3L. If you are still not happy buy a turbo or another car.
