Will springs from a 95-97 Mystique fit on a 96 Contour? I found a new, more affordable lowering spring in JC Whitney today, but they only list it for 95-97 Mystiques. The whole set was like $79 and they're supposed to give a 1"-1.5" drop...
Thanks in advance... -BigC

The dash in 95-97 means 95 through 97. for exmaple if it said 1900-2000, it would include all of the years between 1900 and 2000. so, to answer your question, yes.

Thank you for that useless post.
The problem was not in relation to the years. I wanted to know if Mystique springs fit the Contour.
Thanks for pointing out that 96 is between 95-97. I never would have guessed.
It listed the MYSTIQUE. Not the CONTOUR. That led me to believe that the two had different springs.
Will 95-97 Mystique springs fit a 96 CONTOUR?
Thanks again- BigC

Yes they will fit, all model/years springs from any contique will fit on all contiques.
Edit: I also found the springs he is looking at does anybody know anything about the springs, cuz I'm in need of new suspension springs and also, it lists them as front suspension springs couldn't I also use them for the rear too?

Umm that's 79 per pair. $160 total! You're going to need a performance strut as well. Great CEG has dwindled down to teenagers modifying their cars for a nickle. Anyone buying parts from JCWhitney needs a serious head exam. Get the BAT or Koni kit $600. Anything less and you'll be spending more in the long run because you'll need new struts in a year. If you can't afford to do it right, don't do it at all!

Plus the BAT springs have a red coating, they'll match your car.
