I tried to add the factory keyless entry to my 95 Contour SE, but hit a roadblock. It appears that Ford does not install the wiring harness in the cars without the system, so it appears to be a major project, not just a simple plug & play!
I obtained the antenna and transmittor to install behind the glove box real cheap at a local pick & pull, but later determined that my Contour did not have the wiring harness.
I went back to the pick & pull to see if I could get the harness out fairly easy, but discovered that removing the harness is a major project. It appears to run by the passenger "A" pillar behind some sound deadening foam. I didn't rip the entire dash out to determine where it goes.
So, I have a factory antenna and transmittor to give away for FREE to any member that needs one. You will only have to pay the shipping charges. I do not have the keyless remote for the keychain.
