Does anyone know the part number for the metal clip that goes around the end of the throttle cable and holds it onto the throttle bracket? I tried searching here and on the parts sites but couldn't find it.

Ford doesn't list a part number for it. When I did my UIM/LIM disassembly for cleaning last year, it popped off, never to be seen again. The dealership only lists the full throttle cable in their parts list. Mine actually ordered the new cable, then took the clip off and gave it to me.

Good luck.

I made one out of hard plastic plumbing pipe I got at the hardware store for .50cents.
It's been on Mbb41's car for over 1 year now with no problems.

It was similar to this, I just cut off the end (length needed), drilled a hole in the middle the
size of the ball and cut a narrow line from the end to the hole so it could slide on. It was amazing,
it snapped onto the ball like it was factory.

It is posts like this that really make me appreciate CEG. A solution that may not have been thought of otherwise was shared.

Thank You.
