If so, it is VERY possible (I've had it happen to me when a mechanic replaced MY clutch.) Normally around the metal retaining ring, but can be punctured anywhere along there, sure. I know that the seals are the leaky bits. I was sure hoping that I could pin this on the mechanic because it looks like a big job - dropping the subframe and removing the steering gear - to replace the seals. Bummer!
