Any ideas. Driver window wont roll down with the door closed but alll other functions work fine. Any other sugestions.

Probably the brushes in the motor itself, you can pull it out fairly easy and rip it apart and clean it .

Although problems with the motor or regulator are more common, test the switches before replacing anything.

I've tested everthing i can think of to test. Wires comming out of the switch light up the tester when acording buttons are pushed. When i go down to the motor itself and poke the white wire into the motor it lights the tester when the roll up button is pushed but not the roll down button. When i poke the yellow wire into the motor it lights up the tester when the roll up button is pushed but not the roll down button. Am i missing something here?? Cant seem to track down a diagram anywhere. Any help?? I dont know exactly how a power window system is supposed to work.

maybe you should take off the door panel and see if you can find the problem.

I'm not sure I understand how you are testing it.
Keep in mind, that the motor runs in reverse on one of the directions. It is reversed by reversing the polarity of the current going to it.

I had problems with my windows due to the connector (where all the wires screw into the harness in the door jamb)wasn't screwed in all the way.
