ok so i've had 3 mystiques...and now i have an CSVT and a 99 Mystique GS can anyone tell me why all my mystiqes had a much better/sportier feel and handling than my 2000 CSVT
same milage on both cars... all components seem to be in good and proper condition....
i know suspention but not what is in these cars...i would have thought that the SVT would be ALOT more fun than the Base Mystique.....
new but have owned....
1 98 mystique=totaled
1 99 mystique=Sold
1 99 mystique-made my G/f buy it cause i wanted my car back

I'd bet the SVT was well beat on in those "same" number of miles.
Time to replace the suspension parts I would surmise.
2000 SVT #674
13.47 @ 102 - All Motor!
It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

i've looked at the parts...all are good...sans the rear swaybar bushings...(withc i couldn't imagine them making that big a difference)..the front are new...te struts look great as do the springs...the rest of the bushings ect... look fine....and i'm sure they were beat about evenly...cause before we got the mystique it was a rental car......
the CSVT rides great...but handles like a buick lesaber (i had one i know) the GS is nice all around...the steering is tight suspention is stiff with no body roll...
i was hoping there were some ppl on here that have had or do have both that could give me an idea of how my SVT should handle....

You struts may look great but are likely blown or really close to it.

yeh it'sgonna be on it's way to all new suspention any hoo.....but i really thought it was wierd...and wanted to know if it was normal.....cause it isn't always true that stiffer makes better in handling.....so wanted to know if it was that soft from the factory....
the plan as of now is konis and a nice set og Ground controls with a custom spring rate....

Mine still look good but they are original equipment (7 years/90,000 miles on them, they are pretty well used)
