Hello, for some reason, i am getting some kind of popping sound from my left front wheel. And before you yell at me to search, i did. The popping is not coming when i turn or anything like that, it happens when i go over a speed bump or i am on a bumpy driveway. I want to know what this is so I can get it looked at ASAP.

Possibly a broken sway bar mount? Never heard of this happening in the front, but that's what it sounds like...

That very exact same thing was happening to me. It has something to do with the way the spring is sitting in the strut. I'm not sure what I did but I compressed the spring while it was in the car and fiddled around with the spring then uncompressed it and it hasn't made a noise since. Good luck with figuring that out

What do you mean when you say "fiddled around with it"? and how did u go about compressing the spring? by pushing down on the car at that corner?
Thanks, Brian

I have the same problem since I put my new springs in. I got it evaluated by my brother (who is a local car technician) and he said its a blown strut. Not a bad thing, just another excuse to have better struts, although I had SVT struts in my SE.

It's most likely just the spring not sitting properly.
That happened to me when I installed my springs a long time ago. I had the suspension worked on a few months after but nothing got replaced, just reassembled. The car hasn't made the noise since.

Ok, well I will take it to Ford and have them reassemble the spring setup and see if that fixes the sound. Thanks a lot you guys. Brian

Have en look at your front anti-sway bar stabilizers... their prone to wear and make one hell of a racket.
