What are the torque ratings for the bolts that hold the 3.0l together? both the 5 outside and the eight inside? My chiltons manual bites and refuses to tell me anything.

I don't know the specs off hand, but you need to get the ford factory CD rom. It has everything, you can print stuff out, and it will tell you which bolts should NOT be re-used, such as the bolts you are talking about IIRC.

PM a guy on here normally called "Todras" ( I think he changed his sig) he sells them for $8 a cd.
