OP GetBooby151�?© Hard-core CEG\'er G Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,033 S.E.M.I.	I have a faint squeaking coming from the rear right...Im almost gonna say its the sway bar bushing on that side. It only happens when I hit bumps, or from the rumble of my exhaust (sounds wierd, but its true). It also does not happen ALL the time. Its not like a "creaking" either like you'd find in wood floors. Its an annoying little squeak that you can hear from the outside mostly, but inside too. Is my diagnosis right? Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

Turned out to be the emergency brake cable rubbing on the uni-body near the wheel well when I went over a bump. Dealer said it was a common problem and fixed under warranty. Not sure what they did. DJ 59Y New CEG\'er D Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 26 mesa, AZ, usa	could be brake cables... bushings.... bent suspention component somthing loose in your trunk (check the spare) broken exhaust hanger..... bent heat shield rubbing on the exhaust... the list goes on...with that vage of a description all i can recomend is get under there and look ....have somone push the back of the car down and try to pin point it.... new but have owned.... 1 98 mystique=totaled 1 99 mystique=Sold 1 99 mystique-made my G/f buy it cause i wanted my car back currently sporting a 2000 CSVT and a yamaha R6
