Has anyone had problems recently with excessive streaking on multiple sets of Micro-edge wipers? I got a new pair a few weeks ago and they're already streaking like mad. My mother's had a very similar issue with the wipers on her Camry. I wonder if there are some quality control issues going on at Bosch, because I remember back when this car was new and I would get 8 months out of a set of these blades without so much as a streak.

Have you used Rain-X on the windshield? I've noticed that certain wipers will streak badly on an older windshield that has been rain-X'ed. I presume it is becuase of the pitting on the windshield, but I have no data to back that up.

Yeah, I have those wiper blades and they started streaking until I put a coat of rain-x on the car. I think it has something to do with the urethane they put on those blades.

Nope, haven't used rain-x or any other products of the sort. I only use glass cleaner on the windshield and rubbing alcohol on the wiper blades.
The windshield was replced in November, so it has some winter pitting, but nothing extensive.

So you're saying it stopped streaking after you put the rainx on??

I use Anco wiper blades been on there since winter (middle to end) and haven't streaked yet. Love them wipers, my old ones (dunno what they were) streaked like mad, and when I got the Ancos I thought WOW, so I suggest using Anco wiper blades.
Oh and also my dad uses Bosh blades on his truck and I don't notice any streaking with them.

I haven't bought any since last summer...they are the only ones I use. But they only last me about 4-5 summer months & thats about it...they are awesome new

YEah.... even gas stations usually sell them. Rain-X brand wiper blades are the best ones in my opinion.
