Just use a copper water pipe cap, that you can buy at any hardware store for pennies.

PM me. I'll send you one pre-drilled for your car.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Considering there are three, or so, different sizes that are recommended to try (because the same size doesn't work for all cars), how would you be able to "pre-drill" one? Nothing to show that size would work for his car.
Considering they are like.. LITERALLY 08 cents or so, it would be a waste of postage to ship on, as well.

Well Ray, here's the thing.
The how-to lists the various sizes based on the smallest hole that will keep a car at idle under cold startup. The goal that I & this young CEGer have is simply to defeat the moose & some throttle hang. You can drill out the cap with the largest diameter hole - even a little larger, and you'll still accomplish the required tasks. AND you'll also allow your IAC to control idle to a significant degree.
But WAIT, that's not all! When he contacted me I was going to ask him about his car & make the appropriate size hole for his application - according to the how-to. Woulda been fine, I thought. But you're the expert.

If he can't go to a hardware store (Home Depot etc...), pick up a copper cap and drill a hole, he shouldn't even think of opening the hood of his car. I don't think that is the case so no need to mail him anything.

i just got the cooper cap and drilled a hole, but i dotn know how big the hole should be and another thing is i cant put it in alot, it is on the end of the tube so i cant tighten it to the metal part of the engine... can i just go to junkyard and get that tube from a newer contour/couger when they didnt have thoes problems anymore???

TDF:
No reason to get all uppity about it. I never said anything about being an expert. I simply asked why he would pay the postage when they are like 08 cents or so (or whatever they are) and that there wouldn't be any "tried and true" methods of knowing which size he needed, EVEN if he told you his setup. Each application is different, and would have to take in to account things like IAC condition, etc.
Simply hearing what he has under the hood wouldn't allow you to perform some calculation that would tell you which size to drill. I certainly caught the helpful gesture in your post (and wasn't trying to say opposite), just didn't see the point in the hassle to pay more and not be guaranteed.
