First off, welcome to CEG, glade to see another Ohioian here, and yeah that's way to much for a 99, I bet they're asking that much cuz it's a SVT. I'd say $4K-$5K. I got my mystique for $7K and it was worth it at the time, got it when it was 5 years old, now it's goin on 8. Now it's worth crap , the car is almost rust free, NON on the body.
The most amount of rust on the car is on the bottoms of the doors inside on that lip and the trunk lid same thing as the doors, and that too is very little.

just for haha's I checked nada and for that car with 60k they give a trade in of $6,650 and retail of $8,475. Kelly blue book gives a trade in of $5,550 and retail of $8,780.

chances are they aren't moving on the price unless they sit on it for awhile. they want profit #1 and they know they can finance that amount for that car.the other posts are correct exept for 3grand number. I don't think you are going to steal that one away. If you want the car bad enough think of what you would spend to get a car that you want. If book values meant everything then no one would do any mods most of the time you won't get the return. Think hard about what you want and go for it. I'm not suggesting to take a beating on the deal but a low mileage good shape svt are hard to find so take that into consideration also.

I paid $12,500 for my 99CSVT, it had 32K on it. This was four years ago, I didn't do my research. I saw it and had to have it no matter what the price was.
