its been my teenage car dream to have one like that, i was atcually going to buy a truck 100 percent idental to that, but then my dad got me an '85 Ford Tempo  , which was a good car, but then my friends needed to sell this (and i drove it quite a bit when i needed to borrow a truck, ..they said the amount (which was an awesome deal) i said SOLD!!.. and bought me a pick 'em up truck

i have an 87 F-150 with the I-6. 230,000mi and it runs like a champ. Too bad the body is literally rusting itself in half

Wow .. brings back memories. My neighbor used one till ~1996 (probably still parked in his yard, rusting like all his other cars from forever) ... good truck.

im hoping she'll last that long, its a great truck, and a truck that you'll never have to care about "scratchin" it, its just starting to rust over the wheel wells (most popular spot to start, and as some sign of rust forming, on the Cab Corners,.. i think i washed it onces since i got it, mabye twice, it looks worse when i wash it b/c all of the Scratches then show up again, also the paint is starting to peel in some areas, so power washing isnt a good idea, i dont htink but everynow and then spray it w/ light hose from my house,

As said, you can't beat that engine!! My father had a '88 F150..."Big Blue" with the I6, 200,000mi when we got rid of her. My neigbors old '85 had 250,000mi when he gave it up, another friend of mine had one that went just shy of 350,000mi when I last saw it..

my Ex step dad has an '87 he's in the process of restoring. well just doing body and interior work the engine is a I6, w/ 190,000..so that means it has about 810K left  mike
