I don't know if this counts but, I had the SHO Shop 8 pound unit on my sho,I know It's not a tour Anyways, I never had a problem with durability. It did have a steel insert and starter ring. The engine did have a bit of a rough idle though. The clutch I used was the Hi Revs race duel diaphragm kevlar clutch, AKA lots of clutch chatter,hard launches and tire spin. I know that when I do the clutch on the svt I will go to a aluminum unit and a clutch with more manners for sure  Good luck on your decision.

It's a chronic disease.
