Bad brake line? The do get old and the inner liner colapses. The fluid can not flow pushing the pistons. With a 7 year old car it is possible.

Replace the brake line. About $25 for a new one. Unscrew the old one, install the new one.

do you have a part # from oreilly or autozone for the brake line? i can call and go pick it up after i get off work...it would take about ten minutes to change...is the brake line from where to where?

Make sure you use TWO CORRECT SIZE WRENCHES to undo the bolt other wise if you twist the steel line you WILL be fuxored!

what are the correct sizes? and where do i need to undo it? at the hard line? or at the caliper? the caliper is EASY to get loose...im not concerned there...it would be the hard line that i would need to find out where...is that behind the splash shielding?

13mm I recall. Line wrenches can come in handy, but open ended will work ok.
