I am wondering how to take off the PCV filter
on my 99 Mystique with Zetec engine.
After I take the airfilter out, I can see the small black
box at the corner, attached with a hose from outside(PCV hose? ).
I think this should be the container of the PCV filter,
but I do not know how to pull it off, just hold on the whole
box and pull, or the cover is removeable ?

Well if you looked on the main page under Mods/Parts you would've seen the how to for the PCV.

that is for the PCV valve, the PCV filter is inside the
air filter housing.

Are we talking about the breather element?

PCV Valve- Purolator PV239- $2.98
Breather Filter- B15064- $1.58
