It has been a while since I been on the board but I am desperate for help or I wouldnt have come on here asking questions on my wife's ZX-2
I was getting an error code of P0171 (system bank 1 to lean) and was told it was the 02 sensor upstream so I replaced it which wasnt fun by the way. Not as hard as on my 98 CVST but not fun either way. Any ideas on why I still get the same code??
Other symptoms:
Car won't idle well. Does for a few minutes then rmps fall down motor shakes then finally dies.
Clear CEL and after a while it comes back on but the symoptoms never stopped after I replaced the 02 sensor.
I really dont have the money to take it to a mechanic so please someone if you have some information please help!! I feel like I have been searching the web for days trying to get some information with no luck but I have faith in the smart people of this site:) a little sucking up never hurt anyone!!)
