Any body ever got the hub out of the bearing without separating the bearing?

not sure but I don't think it is at all possible to get the bearing out without distroying it.

but with that why would you want it in one peice if you are replacing it?

It is very hard to get the inner race of the bearing off the hub without a torch

And a lot of banging (this is with the outer race already seperated, thrown away, and trashed. doing it WITH it on, no.. you would be HIGHLY likely to scar the hub itself, making future bearing installation faulty, or allowing it to spin..

I fail to see any reasons to do this, as well, other than to say you could.
