got a 96 contour, 2.5 engine... the coolant tank's sensor is not registering that it is full.. i know about the add one cup of extra coolant.... the problem is that the sensor is not working.. i got alot of extra coolant in there... how do you remove the sensor to clean it or replace it with a new one? thanks for a reply.....

If I recall correctly, you need to empty the tank, unbolt the tank and it's located underneath, just pull it out.
It's been a year since I pulled mine out so I can't remember the whole thing properly.

thanks for the info... any problems with it leaking where the sensor goes or comes from the bottom of the tank????

Man now I gotta go look at my car........

No leak issues for me. It's got the same sensor wire clip as the brake reservoir tank.
You can see it under the lower front of the tank.
