I have spent a lot of time dynamating (and money) my trunk and 4 doors... it sounds 400% better, but those pressure flaps are rattling like mad. They dont do this when the doors / trunk is open, because they dont need to dispell the extra pressure fromt the subs. Just want to know if it is a big no-no if I get rid of the vents, and seal them. My sound will be soooo much better!
I know they are there in case of air bag deploymeny, to equalize the presure... but if the air bags did go off without the vents, I cant imagine it being more pressure then having my subs pound.. lol
Let me know your thoughts..

close them off, it should only make it hard to close the trunk iwth everything else sealed up.

i just stuck a couple rags in the vents, you can use whatever, but use something cloth, this way it will still alow for the equalization and vents but it will not flap.

It will mess with you heat/AC you will feel pressure build up in the cabin. I tried this on my old probe and it started to push the front windows out.

every vehicle has vents, doesnt matter if its a Mini or a van. You'll have the same effect when you plug them up.

I have an idea, remove them and replace them with aperiodic membrane. Allow air to move through with no moving parts.
