Short summary,
Back in Feb my charging system light went on found that the alternator was dead. Replaced that with a NAPA remaned. Didn't work. So I got a new one from NAPA and that one somehow diabled the Bat. Light. Returned that one miunus a 20% restocking fee. Got another remanufactured alternator from Signature LM and at the same time replaced the mega fuse and the battery (both oem.) I got the charging light back after that.
By this point I got so fed up I took it to a local shop and for $20 it was fixed. I guess when my friend was doing diag. he pulled a 15 amp fuse and forgot to plug it back in.
Any way now I'm driving back from the shop and I accelerate from a turn and my bat light comes back on and I hear a grinding from under the hood.
So my best guess is that the new new new alternator is bad. Can I get an exchange on this or is it something "deeper"?
