That estimator is VERY WRONG!!! It's at least 15% faster then it really should be. (if not 20%) Using that calculator my 0-60 time is in the sub 4.5 range. Rock On... I had to go try it once I saw your insane estimates...

So how long do you think it takes your car to hit 60 mph then?
The longer it takes to hit 60 mph, yet if you have a decent running car means you have to make it up somewhere and the largest per sec mph gain is durning the first and second gears.

Around 5.1 to 5.4 range is what the good old G-Tech Guesstimator pegs it at.
That is right in line with what the video camera says too. (cockpit video of street runs)
The website pegged me at around 4.5 to 4.9 based on my last several runs at the strip. While that is really damn cool to quote it's not very likely IMO.
For reference the G-tech pegs my 0-100mph right at 13 seconds. The track states 102mph is roughly 13.5 seconds and we know that's actually slower then the car is truly going at the lights.
Maybe the G-tech reads a bit slow??? I know quoting sub 5 seconds sure sounds cool for driving the wrong damn wheels.

Aren't you still spinning the tires after 4.5 seconds?? Maybe you could get the 0-60 done faster in reverse??

And I would never make a single payment on a Korean vehicle as long as I live. How dare you insult me by even considering that I would do so.

Demon,
I think it also depends on if you're hitting 60 in 2nd or 3rd gear. No doubt a necessary 3rd gear change adds .3-.4 to the time.
I'd say 5.0-5.3 for you, given your ET, trap speed, and if you're hitting 60 in 2nd.
Just my guesstimation.

SWEET!!! My own personal JVTech guesstimator.
Depending on what position I have my TwEECer on my redline is either 7500-8100rpm.
That's 64-69mph in 2nd gear.
96-102mph in 3rd.
For the record I have tried staying in 3rd (8100rpm) for the 1/4 mile run and my trap speed slowed down by just over 1 mph. ET stayed the same.

Every car I have owned, the speedo is off when accelerating hard.
My Lightning says I am going 105 mph when I go thru the 1/4 traps...yet it runs 110-111
My Z28 would say 108 mph...yet run 115-116.
Most cars hook better on the track than the street. I have owned several G-techs and used them on numerous cars...a step above a stopwatch imo.
