For anyone looking for a Diablo chip and are local to us can have their computer read and a new program created within a week turn around time.

This is very good news for those who have been waiting ages for a Diablo chip.

Alex

Just need your car for about a hour. I need to take it out, download your code and reinstall your computer.

I can then upload the data to Diablo. It takes them a couple of days for them to make a program. I would then download the program flash a blank chip.

You then come back and we simply plug in the chip and that's it. Of course you have to pay for it smile No more sending off computers for a week, unless it's one that needs special attention such as a jumper.

There will be a small fee for reflashes, except if it is warranty related, then the reflash is free. Custom programs will cost extra, pricing TBA.

Is there a reason that you need the download from the computer? Is it possible to just take the code off ala Superchips and program it that way? Also, how much would it cost for a custom programmed chip. I've found that with modifications, the standard chip actually produces less power at the top end. Thanks!

The are legal aspects that we must abide that do not permit any dealer from tranferring one companies programs to another company, or face losing their status as a programming dealer.

The current custom program cost, we have been told, is going to cost the end user $125.00USD.

Your observations about the standard programs losing power, after many, many mods, is also true as we saw the same thing happen with our SE. That is why it's now time for us to have a custom program made for our SE.
