Stock amp has one iirc, use a voltmeter or other testing device to find which wire...good if you no longer use it.

i dont recall but the cig lighter might be a switched source. turn the car off. if the cig lighter works, its not a switched source. possibly the overhead lights?? i never paid attention to these to see if they work

the best one is about a 10 or so gauge wire under the dash. If I'm not mistaken it is either yellow or orange. Just test it with a test lead and that will tell you. I have all of my radio/switched sources on that.

thanks for the update. i checked the stock amp and didnt find a switched lead.

here is the harness i was looking at from the stock amp:

i have some underdash pics. is this 10 gauge you speak of any of these?

that is to the left of my clutch pedal (that is the clutch pedal in the pic).

get one of those fuse adapters that allow you to run a wire off of a fuse in the block. the one under at the bottom right corner of the interior fuse panel is switched I beleive. it might also be unused depending, you can check it with a test light

Actually scratch that....I'm retarded. I believe the stock amp has 12v const, ground, and the turn-on wire that's activated when the radio turns on...my bad.

Find the accessory wire inside the ignition harness under the steering wheel. Thats how I wire up most cars works great.
