Yes the EH UIM's are thinner, and lighter, and in the intial runs were not passed to the maximum. That has been addressed according to EH.

For a stock 2.5 engine the SVT UIM should deliver as good a result as EH, for higher modded engines the EH is more open and should pass more air. In either event it needs to be mated to an upgraded LIM.
