Guys,
I know this has been asked again, but here goes:
Got some questions, Please Help
What type of gains are we talking for an SVT with a superchip. I have some mods, Intake and removed res. (Hopefully opened up exaust), new plugs, wires, and I would really like to add so lower end power. Will this help?
Also are there any bad things that come along with getting a chip?
Where are the best places to buy from?
How many times do you have to send your chip back in for programming?
I have an E0 SVT, would it be more help to get my PCM # or something!

Check my sig for dyno's from before and after. Running the highest octane you can get from normal pumps 92/93, 94 is just finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!!! Originally posted by jcboeckl:

Get you chip for Performace Plus. That's where I am getting mine. Tell them you are with the CEG and you heard about them from Spring Zing. http://www.performance-plus.com/ The people there are really nice. My chip has shipped and I'm hoping to get it today or tomorrow. Once I get it, I will make up a "How-To" for installing aftermarket chips on the Contour.

Merlin, I looks like when you added the chip your dyno got worse. Was that the case before you added the ypipe. I never really saw any advantage to the chip with an svt or even a se with five speed. Thanks for the info They show $225 for the SuperChip on their website. I actually won mine as a door prize at SZ 2001! :p

My sig shows my results with the chip in...
I did a before and after dyno and will post more info tonight...huge gains along rev range though for me for both torque and hp

Just out of curiosity, what is your computer code?
I've noticed for the 99's that the chip has worked well for the sfg2 code.
