Does anyone have a link on how to make an oil accumulator yourself? I know ive seen it somewhere on here but ive searched everywhere. Thanks

an oil accumulator really isn't something you are going to make on you own, not easily.

But if you are really meaning that you want to make an oil separator yourself links are in this thread

There are LOTS of posts on this, please use the search function and look through "General Mods" "Duratec Performance" "Duratec Maintenance" and "3L"

since i have spun 2 motors now with this great oil problem forn left us with. I own an accusump. i like that fact that it pre oil ur motor a little bit before starting, but since im adding a turbo its gotta go. im just going to get a baffled oil pan ( escape) and be done. oh yeah ill make the windage tray better if needed.

Hes talking about the oil catch can thing for the EGR or whatever.

So... are you saying you managed to spin bearings in two motors while using the accusump? What size accusump? and why exactly does it have to go because you're turboing?

i gotten the accusump after i fried 2 motors. the first was under warranty. after wards i went to 3.0L with accusump. in order to make room for the turbo and fmic( battery is in trunk already) thats got to go as well as other things.

Do this with you're accumulator, that way you can retain the safety of having it.





BTW if you pull off an FMIC you'll be one of the first (if not the first) you may also want to consider the heat issues surrounding the introduction of an FMIC
