Do you guys know of anyway to "patch" up an oil tank without changing the whole thing. Its been dripping oil and I dont see how there is anyway to patch it up since there is no way to stop the oil to get it dry enough for something to stick to it.

Replacing the oil pan is not expensive, and is a DIY project. In fact, if you have a V6, its actually recommeneded that you change the oil pan to get the newer style with the added baffles.

who is "they"? and if its a DIY (im not sure cause ive never encountered it) that means its probably not very involved and you can indeed "Do It Yourself"(DIY).

Oil tank?! In another post of your you talked about a fuel injector flush? Who is giving you auto advice?! And if no one is you had better be getting your repairs done at a shop.
