thegreatone, i'll definitely give u a shout next time. jpeters at spirit for his birthday was pretty good. friends havent been to avalon in a while so thats likely the next club we'll hit. i definitely liked crobar alot, especially since it was morillo spinning and he ripped it up. the crowd was totally feelin' it. great crowd vibe that nite, though i hear thats the exception not the rule for the crowds at crobar.

Staz! You need to come back out here now that I am single again. The clubs here are great...you just have to know the right people and BYOT (Bring Your Own Talent)doesn't hurt either. Case in point...

At the Foundation Room, it was a good night!

clubs were fun, but those days are long gone.

Well man, dunno how to put it - no offence - when I hit some Miami clubs - Club Space and Opium Garden - them being nice and all - they felt completely different to what I am used to in NYC. Well, all of "my" NYC clubs got shut down anyway...

Wait, Nikki Beach was great though! And now we got the franchises of the originally Miami clubs such as Crobar. Also I heard that back in the day Liquid was the place to go. Ever been there?

Unless it's a theme night. I really can't find anything likeable in the new clubs such Avalon, Crobar, Spirit, etc. The vibe is gone. Maybe I am just old. Maybe I am one life, one love, one club type of guy, so there's nothing like Sound Factory to me...

I refuse to pay cover when I go to a club. It's never worth it.

Of course, I've outgrown the whole scene. I much prefer neighborhood bars (Lincoln Park area of Chicago has tons of great ones).
