I've got a wrecked 95 Gl sitting at home, with a good zetec engine and a bad transmission. I may be able to get a 96 Gl, with a bad zetec engine. What problems will I run into if I try to put the 95 engine into the 96 body. The main thing I'm concerned about is the compatability between OBD vs OBD II. How would I go about making the swap? Would the 95 hook up smooth?

It's the same engine. Use the wiring harness from the 96 and you should be all set.

Make sure to change the crank position sensor and the transmission alignment pins while you are in there, if one is a MTX and the other is an ATX. They are specific to the trans that the engine is connected to.
