Has anyone purchased the version 8 DVD? I have the 8.11 demo for Linux and I love it. I will probably purchase the DVD very soon.
So far my altitude record for Earth is ~637,000 feet in a NASA X-30 (though I was out of control above 200,000 feet)... I tried a Saturn 5 Moonrocket but didn't know how to do the different rocket stages and fell back to earth.
Planes are much more fun than rockets anyway. My favorites to fly are the FA-18 Hornet-Marines model, the F-15E Strike Eagle, and the SR-71 Blackbird. I have not yet learned to fly choppers or VTOL jump-jets.
To my suprise, I have not yet found an A-10
