I just got my car back and it is bogging bad. I dont know what it could be. Its like when I start in first it hesitates then its like the power just cuts on at about 3500 rpm. Its like that in every gear does anyone know what it could be? It was doing it with my old engine then I upgraded to a 3.0 and it is still doing the same thing. I know this engine only has 3k on it.

Yo man, it is a very common problem. i am some what going through the same thing. What you most likely need to do is get a new IMRC (Intake Manifold runner control) box. it controls your secondaries, which is what gives you most of your power after 3500RPM. This most definitely sounds like the source of your problems.
An easy way to check is start the car, pop the hod, manually push the throttle in and see if the little connector to your secondaries moves once your RPM's rise. If it doesnt, you need a new IMRC, or you need a serious cleaning of your UIM and LIM (it may be stuck on gunk).
Hope this info helps you.

I noticed that my car once had a supercharger. The code read P0305 which means cylinder 5 misfire. We changed the coil. Then erased the code that part was ok. It still kept bogging. So then we changed the mas air unit, that helped out alot. But still that didnt eliminate the problem. Then thats when we noticed it had a chip in the car vortech superchip. We removed it, still didnt help. It bogged until I got on the freeway, then it was ok until I got home and there it goes again. Anybody has any idea?

The who owned the car perviously before me told the owner at my old job (Salvage Yard) that it had a supercharger but I couldnt tell until looked at the processor that there is a superchip that says on the back of it the vortech part number, serial number, and some other part numbers then it taped to the back of it with vortech tape.

I GOT IT DIAGNOSED AT FORD THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE SPARK PLUGS- THERE ARE TOO HOT OF A SPARK OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT- THEY WANT ME TO CHANGE MY PLUGS AND WIRES AGAIN- THEN COMP TEST THE ENGINE. THEY TOLD ME IT WILL MISFIRE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE CYLINDERS. BUT THEY WANT TO COMP TEST CYLINDER 5, SINCE CODE READ P0305 WHICH MEANS CYLINDER 5 MISFIRE

Vortech's have a reputation for detonation.....not good....especially since it was removed.
