Just wanted to update you guys about my 1998 SVT that i use to own. As you may recall, I traded it in for a Mazda 6 last month. Anyways, I had to bring my M6 for warranty work. I asked the salesguy where's my SVT now. He advised that when their carjockey drove the car to the wholesaler on the DVP heading to Scarborough, the waterpump let go and water entered the motor. It subsequently blew the motor. He said it was good timing that i traded it in. He has no idea where the car is now.

Being that the water pump is external, bet you the car jockey drove the car until it overheated, blowing the head gasket, or didn't even look at the temp gauge. Oh well, it's someone elses problem now.

Yep I'll bet hes was driving the bag off it and didn't notice the temp needle parked at 2:00 . My water pump went on me when I was on hte 401. I managed to get it home and then back to Dixie Ford without it going boom although I stopped every 5 minutes to let the car cool down .

I drove from Pearson Airport to Burlington with my temp guage on "H" the whole way home and even got stuck in a bit of bumper to bumper traffic. I even drove around town for a day then took it in to get fixed the next day.
